 MY ADMINISTRATION WILL GIVE THE BEST IN ACADEMICS__GIGABYTE

The president of Kwara state polytechnic students union government, Senator Abdulsalam Ishola (Gigabyte) said his administration will give more to the students in academic than any other sectors.


Gigabyte made this known to newsmen in an interview with him on Tuesday 11th October, 2022 where he stated that he sincerely would not take the privilege given to him by the students to be their head for granted as his administration still has a lot of project to be implemented.


According to him, the Gigabyte administration in conjunction with the school management have been strategizing on providing more centers that would accommodate both returning and new students to enhance the quality of convenience while receiving lectures.


However, Gigabyte advises the returning student to continue being a good ambassador of the great citadel of leaning within and outside the school campus, and also take their education seriously as it is their top priority. 


He also advise the new students coming to be good ambassadors of the institution if they eventually got admitted as students of the polytechnic .

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
