The staff adviser of the department of mass communication, Mr. Fatiu Olohungbebe commends rector, Eng. (Dr.) Abdul Jimoh Muhammed, over the provision of New auditorium that was assigned to HND 1 Mass communication students for their advertising campaign pitching on Thursday 20th October, 2022.



Olohungbebe said in an interview after the pitching exercise that he is highly grateful for the opportunity the rector gave the department for the practical activities of the students even though the rector is unavoidably absent in the school at the time. 


He added that the HND 1 mass communication students embarked on this assignment in order to put into practice what they have been taught in class, and also to promote the polytechnic brand at large.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
