The Service Provider, Kwara State Polytechnic, has commend the efforts of the school authority towards attending to environmental issues. 


The Chairperson of the unit, Mrs Oyewole Adedayo said cleaning the environment is pivotal as it contributes to the health of those living around the vicinity. 



She lamented that they do face more challenges during the raining season as erosion do bring more dirt to the environment. 


Mrs Adebayo however reiterated that the units will continue to make the environment clean to avoid diseases attached to filthy environment.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
