KwaraPoly Stadium due for renovation

Kwara State Polytechnic Stadium has over due for renovation as most of the building has been dilapidated as grasses has grown all around the environment which is affecting the outdoor/indoor sporting activities in the institution.


One of the students of the institution AYINDE KABIRU, Department of Mass Communication, called out to the school management to intervene in renovating the stadium to promote more sporting activities..



Another student, ADEJARE RUQAYAT, Department of Public Administration, who is football lover, said that the institution needs a well renovated stadium to foster sports as a professional.


The students of kwarapoly however urge the school management to harken to their cries towards providing them with well equipped stadium

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
