The student of kwara state polytechnic has called on the management of the institution to make provisions for adequate toilets in the polytechnic as to curb the act of open defecation amongst students. 


In an interview with a student of the Polytechnic, Miss Oyenike Rahmat stated that the management should initiate measures including the provision of toilet facilities in the school to curb open defecation.



She expressed sadness sharing her experience during her National Diploma program in the school which resulted to her having infection through the process. 


She however pleaded to the management to make more provisions on constructing more toilets In the school.

    School has enough toilet student don't just have access to it .... it's only meant for staff only ..

    It’s a better ideal to provide adequate toilet and however merged them with securities so that proper maintenance can be satisfied..

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof.
