Kwara state polytechnic students leaving around eleko express their taught over the bad bridge that links to Kwara State Polytechnic boys hostel.


They complain on the bridge that was not patched properly, uneven layers of concrete was dumped on the segments which made it extremely hard and scary when passing by. 


In an interview with one of the student, Jumoke Olawale said she would like to draw the attention of the community towards the pathetic state of road in there area..


She said, for the last nine months the bridge has been almost impassable, she stated that said they have made several complaints, but no action have been taken..


This road most of the vehicles keep avoiding these concrete patches, During the raining season the road get easily flooded, she stated.


She however Appeal to school management and all stakeholders to find a lasting solution to it.

    No one is ready to give back to community, even those that are not in government. That bridge is not more than what a philanthropist can take over.....

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
