 Kwarapoly  students Laments Over Open Defecation.

The student of the kwara state polytechnic has  lament over open defacation been praticised by students and staff of the Polytechnic.


In our interview with Mr Babatunde,he  stated that this act is an environmental issue that needs to be eradicated and said there is not enough public toilets in the school.


He further said that, going into the bush to defecate is highly dangerous for the student as they can be attacked by some wild animals such as snake, scorpion and so on.


According to Blessing Onyeka,a student of mass communication department,she  said the school lecture rooms and environment is not that Conducive for the staff and students of the polytechnic anymore due to the bad odour coming out from the bush and it environs.


She pleaded to the kwara state polytechnic school management to help them construct enough public toilets for the students and Staffs.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
