 Lokoja highway: Gridlock as commuters ply Jebba/ Mokwa road

There has been grid lock on the Jebba/ Mokwa road as road user have been diverted from passing the Lokoja highway due to excessive flooding that has damaged the road. 



In an interview with one of the driver, Olushola Akinseye said the journey has become stressful for them because it is now a long journey. 



He however appealed for prompt government intervention to salvage the Lokoja bridge and other roads that are yearning for urgent attention with a view to making them motorable again.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof.
