MATRON IMPLORES STUDENTS TO TAKE COVID-19 VACCINES

Covid19 vaccination personnel in kwara state polytechnic Ilorin, Matron Janet Monisola Oloyede yesterday during an interview with the press edify the importance of covid19 vaccine to the entire student of the polytechnic.
She clearly stated that Covid19 vaccine protects people from contacting the deadly virus, and it normal for vaccinated people to encounter mild pain which could last for three days, stating that paracetamol could be used to subdue the pain.
She also bewailed over low turn-up rate due to summer vacation and students nonchalant attitude in adhering to covid19 vaccination which is not supposed to be taken with levity.
Furthermore, Matron Janet encourage student of the polytechnic especially HND 2 student to complete their doses immediately after the resumption as it is one of the necessary requirements in completing their National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC) registration as stated by the federal government.
