 NIS brings exposure to the Yakuba community, residents commends govt.

Residents of Apata Yakuba Ilorin, kwara state has commended the State Government for bringing Nigeria immigration service to their community saying it has bring more exposure to the community. 


In an interview with one of the residents,!MRS ADEOLA NURAT commended the government for their laudable effort in doing so, said that since the existence of the Nigeria immigration service in the community, things have been turning around good in the community. 


“It makes the community more civilized because different kinds of people come from different places to yakuba. And it also boost sales for the traders and it has been a great value to the community”, she added. 


She however commended the government for doing their best on the project and urging them to bring many other things to the community.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
