 No Light, No Pay - Yakuba Residents to IBEDC

The People of Yakuba, Area, Ilorin,The Kwara State Capital has implied the “No Light, No Pay” policy to the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) over the lack of sustainable electricity in the area. 


In an nterview with a residents, Mr. Ojo Jimoh, reiterated that the Power Holding Company of Kwara state, Yakuba chapter, will not have access to their money at the end of the months if they refuse to discontinue the habit of keeping them in darkness without any reason.



He who described the habit as arbitrary and wickedness, urged the State Government to come to their aid and help in rectifying the issue. 


Also, Mrs. Ismail Bunmi added that their children could not read at night due to the lack of electricity in the area, adding that all their electrical gadget could not be charged as well.
