Kwara state polytechnic students, Ilorin, commended the Rector, Engr. Abdul Muhammed over the provision of Network Operating Centre (NOC) for all students.


During a visit to the centre by the newsmen in the institution, some of the students who expressed their gratitude to the management told the newsmen that they are grateful for the opportunity of advance learning.



Mr. Adejare, one of the registered member, who spoke to the newsmen through an interview that he got to know such facility exist when he was disturbed about how to download some textbooks online which warrant alot of data.


He also said that he enjoy coming to the centre because of the well coordinated surroundings, staff and unmeasurable advantage of the uses of data.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
