 ODFEL will commence fully by the end of the session - KwaraPoly Rector

The Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic, Engr. Jimoh Abdul on Thursday said the Open Distance Flexible E_learning (ODFEL) will commence by the end of the 2021/2022 Academic Session. 


The Rector who was responding to the guest lecturer, Prof. Sanni Mubaraq at the Center for Continuing Education (C.C.E) Maiden Lecture and Award held yesterday at the Admiral Muhammed Lawal Auditorium 

about his request about the polytechnic engaging in virtual classes. 



He added that the Polytechnic has also partnered with various bodies to engage their engineering students on one year training after their national Diploma. 


Engr. Abdul however commended the C.C.E for their commitment towards achieving success at the center 


however adding that they have gained their accreditation from the national board for technical education and will enhance their online engagement.



He also added that the management has made provisions for engineering students in the polytechnic by partnering with some bodies as for them to acquire a year training after their national diploma.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
