 Oke Adini Community rejoices over stable power supply.

The residents of Oke Adini community area of Ilorin, Kwara State on Friday expressed elation over increase in power supply.


It was reported that the community have been suffering from poor power supply for over two years which led to relocation of tenants from the community. 


During an interview with some of the residents, they said that many complaints was made on various radio stations but to no avail adding that the power supply got better when it was shifted to a new area.


The residents of the community furthered expressed pleasure on this and hope it gets better and stay forever.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
