 Oke ose Community Laments Deplorable State Of School Facilities.

The people of oke ose  community in ilorin east  Local Government have lamented the scandalous state of school facilities, particularly at oke ose primary and secondary schools.

The baale, Alhaji Ibrahim ajadi.

therefore sought government’s urgent intervention in order to secure the future of younger generation. 

The baale said  that the pupils faced untold hardship during rainy season due to the poor facilities in the school , students sit in overcrowded classrooms to recieve lessons,adding that the government need to act fast.

The baale reiterated the need for the state government to act fast in giving the pupils a befitting and conducive learning environment.

During our interview with oke ose community chairman mr.sulaiman aremu disclosed that The situation is so bad that even during school hours, the classrooms are over-crowded with students and many of the students do not have chairs to seat on.

Mr Sulaiman futher urge the state  government  to make funds readily available for schools to be rebuilt and equipped with infrastructure. Also, the school administrators should be pressured to access grants and funds that are set up for schools to revive the institutions.

 The vice principal of okeose  secondary school , mallam abdualrasaq soliu, also emphasized that All the desks in the classrooms are broken and the rooftops need urgent fixing. We don’t have clean toilet that our pupils are forced to defecate on the floor of the toilet because the water closets are unkempt and littered with .
