 Olokuta Primary  School commends FG for upgrading the school technology 



Management of Olokuta/Anfeyi Primary School, Local Government Education Authority (L.G.E.A), Ilorin the State Capital, has commended the Federal Government for the upgrading technologies in the school. 


The Headteacher, Mr Awodi Abdulkareem Yusuf in an interview commended the Government for the new equipment which according to him will aid teaching that was provided for them.



It was gathered that the government provided free writing books and textbook for the pupils,a coded smartphone and tablet for the teachers to help them impact knowledge on the pupils technologically, necessary charts have also been provided to improve demonstration while teaching.


Mrs Aliyu kuburat, the Primary 3 Class Teacher also added that government has made the new teaching method easy and stress-free.


The management who urged the FG to please provide more infrastructural in the school, also solicited more facilities, sport & science equipment to generate standard education for their students.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
