 The Olomu of Omu-Aran, Oba Abdulraheem Adeoti, on Tuesday commended Rep. Tunji Olawuyi for his people-oriented projects in the area. 

Omu-Aran Township Stadium in Irepodun Local Government Area He made the remarks while laying the foundation for the construction of the Omu-Aran Township Stadium in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara. 


 The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the project was facilitated by the member representing Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara, Rep. Tunji Olawuyi. The traditional ruler said the facility, apart from its lucrative aspect of sports, would encourage people in the area to embrace exercise, necessary for good health, when completed.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.
