 Olunlade residents calls on Kwara State Govt for construction of drainage system

Residents of Olunlade, Ilorin, Kwara State, has called on the State Government towards construction of drainage system for them as they are always troubled by excessive erosion whenever it rains. 



In an interview with Mr Adetunji Mathew who resides in Olunlade, said anytime it rains heavily in the area, the erosion is uncontrollable to the level that all the cars passing on the main road have to wait for the rain to stop so that the erosion can reduce.


He therefore urged the government to find a solution to it on time so as to prevent accident and damages of property.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.
