Oke Oyi traders lament over lack of market structures

Traders of Oke Oyi town, Ilorin East Local Government Area of of Kwara State has lamented over the lack of market structures in the town which led to the traders selling their goods by the road side.
According to Baale of Oke Oyi, Mallam Salihu Abdulquadir, the market is not just a road side market but has been since the existence of Oke Oyi town, pleading to the State Government to helps them build new shops so that the mini market can transform to modern market.
In the same vein, the Iyaloja of Oke Oyi, Hajia Abdul rasak Kudirat explained that the market is not for just people residing in Oke Oyi alone but people from different villages come and buy and sell their goods especially farmers every Five days.
She added that the road side that traders and motorist manage to do business is very risky, however pleaded to the government to help them provide a standard market.
plead to governor Abdul rahmon Abdul rasak to assist them to renovate the market by building shops in side the market.

Yes it will be great if the government could grant this request because it too risk and dangerous to be selling goods at road side of an highway, we urge the government to please make permanent arrangements for easy, safe and convenient environment for the people to sell their goods and farm products
