The people of oyun community ,ilorin East Local Government,of kwara state has clamor for positive improvements on their basic amenities .



The community chairman,Alhaji Garba Alabi pleads to the government to intervene in providing social amenities to the community for the betterment of the community 

According to him , the Government should provide stable electricity and good road for the comforts of the residents.




 one of the community leader, Alhaji Saa’d Saka Bolanta, describe unstable electricity and poor road as deterring as people are leaving the community because of it which is also affecting the development and the economy of the community 


He further added that the electricity is always faulty during the rainy season and the erosion do disturb the community as it damage their properties,He cited the example of his poultry that was destroyed by erosion 


In contribution, one of the residence of the community, Mr. Abdulrasaq (Aro) lamented over the poor road and lack of power supply in the community ascribing it as abnormality for it happens every time during rainy season.


Abdulrasaq pleaded to the state government to come to the community rescue and they will be grateful if the government can grant their needs .

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU LUNCH 40 NEW SHUTTLE BUSES

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
