The kwara state polytechnic is In preparation of the annual convocation which is coming up onWednesday 19th of October and Thursday 20th of October, at the school hall .


At the movement of report,the preparation for the annual convocation is the clearing of bush and cleaning of the school premises..Some workers are saddled with the responsibility of clearing and cleaning the surroundings of the school hall .



Speaking with newsmen , one of the workers Mrs Olatunji grace ,said they are scheduled with sanitation of the premises ,adding that every where in the auditorium is cleaned and are ready for the event.

Speaking further the environment won't ccept backlog of refuse and indiscriminate waste disposal around the school campus, the environment, for the day most be hazard free and conducive.


The Kwarapoly cleaners has reassured the students of the citadel of learning of full commitment to a clean environment in the school..


They hereby appeal the students to always bag and containerise their waste for seamless evacuation.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU LUNCH 40 NEW SHUTTLE BUSES

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
