Public holiday:Celebration of prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Muslims view the celebration, called Maolud  al-Nabi or simply the Maolud, like many other Islamic celebrations: as a sign of respect and adoration for Prophet Muhammad, whom they believe to be God's messenger. The Jamuiyat Nasir Al-furidaous Al-Tijanniyah holds a celebration at their mosque at Al-Fridaous central mosque, Sokoto-aloba budo Esin, Egbejila Area, Ilorin on 8th of October 2022.



In sight of jublilation, Both brothers and sisters of the member came together to make a memorable reunion of the event. During the celebration, Recitation of the holy Quran was done with other Madiu Nabiyy in praises of Allah and His messenger. 


The Islamic scholar, Maolana Sayyid Musa Aloba in his speech said,  “Maolud nabiyy has been one of the greatest celebrations for Muslims both the males and female, the coming together for celebrating the greatest Man of God (Prophet Muhammad) SAW. I am very happy at the moment and I  will be glad if we all continue to practice the act of being faithful and righteous in the ways which the prophet passed through in his days.”



An interview was conducted with the Amir of the mosque, Sayyid Umar Mogaji and his disciple Sayyid Miftau Azeez. In the interview Sayyid Umar said, “Alliamdulilahi Robil Alamin for the program It is a very interesting and rewarding to celebrate the noble prophet pbuh, and the host Maolana Sayyid Aloba may Almighty Allah be with him, safeguard and strengthen him more. My advice to people and to those who doesn’t not have the opportunity to be here today is to emulate and adopt the behaviour and way of life of the prophet and to be kind to everyone.”
