By:MUMINI BOLAJI LUKMAN

Students from Nigerian tertiary Universities, Polytechnic and Colleges of Education have lamented over the stressful procedure they had to go through to get their admission regularize.

The Students who expressed grievous at JAMB Office in Oyun, Ilorin Kwara State, said most times the management do complain about slow network coverage which always makes it more herculean to finish.

One of the students from Kwara State Polytechnic, Joseph Jeremiah, stated that the process is dull with poor facilities.

“I have been coming to jamb office since last week and have not been attended to. The workers would come to the office by 8:00 am and go by 3:00 pm without achieving anything. At times they would start their filthy gossip only to frustrate students”, he said.

Another from College of Education, Abubakar Abdulbasit, stated that “they only attend to someone when you bribe them.

“The computer systems malfunction and many at times the complain of poor network provider. We are tired of what they are doing. I’m calling for urgent government attention to rest the situation.”

They however called on the management of JAMB to look into their complaints and provide a lasting solutions.

The JAMB regularization procedure is designed to regulate National Diploma, Higher National Diploma, and National Certificate of Education type of admission to clear up the JAMB status of a prosperous student, as well as ensure that JAMB has current admission detail that tallies with the admission record in the school that offered students admission.
