 Resident of Agbede community laments over lack of electricity.

The Resident of Agbede community has call the government attention towards low electricity supply in the community.


In an interview with one of the resident fatiu Qureeb says the electricity supply has never been stable and most time when the electricity is restore it is low current.


Furthermore another resident, Mr musa Folurunshi also showed his grief toward lack of power supply, he stated that most times resident who are using power supply for their work have to purchase generator to support their work or go to town to make their job done.


He however urged the state government to come to their aide.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
