The residents of Alada community area, pakata, ilorin, kwara state, bitterly lament over the leaking drainage leading to lost of property. 

 

Speaking with newsmen, risikatu Sulyman is a trader in Alada community emphasizing that the drainage leakage has damage her two freezer,because the heavy water leaked out from the newly constructed gutters along the road side to her shop.

She further disclosed her encounter during the period when heavy water filled her shop,adding that she was shocked by the freezer which almost took her life.

Riskatu further cited an example of the death of sheik aboto who died in the river , caused by heavy flooding .

She further charged the state government to come to their rescue before the drainage leakage start causing death.
