The residents of ilorin metropolis has complain bitterly over the high increase in the price of food items in the market,as most citizens has little or no money to purchase.

According to newsmen, the most patronized market in the city is popularly known as Ipata market and oja oba and many others ,adding that the citizen are not happy with the situation especially in this present period where the economy status is nothing to write home about.



One of the trader in ipata market,bisi adetola lamented that she has not be making profit in her business because of the high and instability in price policy.


Bisi further call on the government to do something quickly to end the problem and create a lasting solution to the problem by trying as much as possible to regulates the economy and create an avenue for market price control.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
