 Residents groan over bad roads on eleko yakuba road.

The Residents of eleko yakuba and its environs have called on the community leader to come to their aid over the deplorable network of roads in the area.


It was reported that They complained about some of the roads, especially at winner church left unattended for over a decade have worsened as a result of the rains.

They also appealed to the council chairman, and community to consider repairing the roads

  

Speaking with newsmen,A shop owner at police villa street, Ade ayo pos, said that the road is now impassable, while motorists, who dared had their vehicles damaged due to bad spots.

  

He further said that The roads leading to our homes are not passable by cars or tricycles, we have to trek some distance to come to our homes, and most vehicles that try to pass through this route end up breaking down.


He urged the community leaders to help them with the road that students are about to resume so that they will not have issues when rain falls.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.
