 Residents Vows To Pack Out Of Hostel:Landlord Refuses To Clear Bush After Ultimatum

 Residents of New World Villa at Ara have made a vow to pack out of their hostel and find new one if the landlord refuses to listen to them and make amends after the one week ultimatum they gave him.


They made it known that they've complained and reach out to the landlord on many occasions and every approaches to convince him ends in futility.


"We killed at least six snakes both inside and outside our rooms last month and so far we've killed two this month,we can't continue to endanger our life""  quoted Adeola who was one of the residents.




They said the landlord need to take quick action and promise them things like that will never happen again before they'll agree to continue staying in the hostel and if appropriate measure is not taken then they feared that something bad will happen at a time and for them to be safe,they need to evacuate the house with immediate effect.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
