 SANGO BRIDGE COLLAPSE, CAUSES MASSIVE GRIDLOCK AT GAMBARI

The collapse of harmony estate bridge along sango road has caused massive gridlock at Gambari as road users who have rely on the bridge to get to route like, Fate, Sango, Oyun, Eleko, poly gate just to mention a few has no option but to navigate to Gambari road along Shao garage


.


Mr Ahmed Bukola, a tricycle rider lamented on the heavy stress the gridlock has caused. He mentioned that traffic has been a normal thing along this route which was once easy to pass through. 

He added that, since the collapse of harmony bridge along Sango, the traffic at Gambari road has now become unbearable both day and night, slowing down transporters business. 


However, he implore the Kwara state government to do something about the bridge as soon as possible to return Gambari road to the way it use to be and safe their business.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
