 SANGO RESIDENTS LAMENT OVER LEAKING SOAK AWAY.

Residents of Sango laments over leaking soak away system in the community which the owner has turned blind eye to. 


During an interview with a resident, Mr. Kehinde Williams, he stated that himself and other residents have gone to the owner of the house and talked to him over his leaking soak away, but he failed to do anything to it which is now causing serious air pollution in the community. 

     

In another interview with a hairdresser, Mrs Salimat Adisa, she claimed that all her customers have fled from her shop for other competitors because nobody will want to sit and be perceiving the unpleasant odour which is even injurious to their health.  

         

However, they urge the community leaders of Sango to take legal actions against the landlord if he refuses to take swift action on his leaked soak away system and safe the community from air pollution.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
