 SCHOOL GATE ROUNDABOUT NEEDS ROAD SAFETY OFFICIALS- MOTORCYCLIST

A motorcyclist at Agbede, Ilorin, Kwara State, Mr Abbey Idowu on 16th,October,2022 urges the State Government to provide Road Safety personnels on this axis to improve safety.


According to him "This roundabout is very close to the Kwara state Polytechnic gate and it's a busy road, there is no proper demarcation and sufficient security officials to control vehicles and people who want to cross the road, most times, cars and tricycles took one way, which is wrong".


He later explained that, even traffic light will do a better job here, students pass around, even hawkers and residents use this road, It's risky as it is, he added.


Mr idowu finally appeals to the government to please consider how important their safety is and please do the needful on this road.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
