 STAFF PROTEST POOR WORKING CONDITIONS IN ILORIN

Workers of kwara state printing and publishing corporation, The Herald Newspapers, on Thursday staged a peaceful protest over poor working conditions in ilorin. 


  The aggrieved staff decried the poor condition of their officers and the  entire vicinity as well as non_payment of accumulated allowances. 


  The protesters carried placards with various inscription such as; "Salary Discrepancies, Epileptic Production, Backlog of promotions, Bad Working Environment and Non_payment of Salaries" among others.

Tunisia defeats Nigeria As Super Eagles Crash Out Of 2021 AFCON

    Super Eagles crashed out of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after a 0-1 loss to Tunisia of the North African side.  goalkeeping error from Maduka Okoye gave the Carthage Eagles the goal just two minutes into the second half.  VAM News had reported that Tunisia defeated the Super Eagles 1-0, courtesy of a 47th minute Youssef Msakni strike to progress to the quarter-finals After recording 9 points after 3 games in the group stage, Nigeria was tagged favourite to lift the trophy for the fourth. During a post-match conference, Kebaier confirmed that they worked on the Nigeria wingers because they knew how dangerous they could be. “Today we came up with tactics to put pressure on the Nigerian wingers because they are very dangerous.
