 STUDENTS DECRIED OVER HIGH COST OF LIVING AT ARA VILLAGE

The students of Ara community in ilorin,kwara state polytechnic deplore over the high cost of house rent in the community.


The Cost of house rent are getting more expensive as some students struggles to pay exorbitant rents demanded by landlords.


In an interview with One of the student, Adewale oluwaseun who confirmed that the increase in house rent has been about 20 to 50percent increase.


He stated that, some house rents are  gets increased while others are not increase depending on the composition of the building,in which the low-cost are not up to standard.


She however urged the landlord to always consider the students, as some students are the one sponsoring themselves.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
