It was reported that sweeping activities of mass communication HND 1 lecture room has always been done by the some students that took the responsibility upon themselves in the absence of cleaners.

In an interview with the departmental president, Sen. Joshua Adeyeye, he said "studying in a dirty environment is not hygienic and definitely not good for the health of students." He added that he doesn't think the issue is from the cleaners and this is because the class is not usually accessible for them due to the fact that the hall is not actually a lecture room, and it always remain locked untill 8am when students resumes and locked at exactly 2pm immediately after their daily lectures.

Joshua however urges the school management to make provision of more cleaners that will be in charge of cleaning the hall immediately after lectures so as the keep learning environment as tidy as possible.
