 TEACH YOUR CHILDREN TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS_ Principal

The principal of Ilorin Grammar School (IGS) kwara state, Hajia Usman Iyabo in a meeting with parents and guardian of pupils advised parents to train their children to be good ambassadors of there family, school and the state so that they can project good image of their respective families. 


Mrs. Usman also said that parents have a great role to play in how their children behave in society and also in their educational development. "Children tends to emulate their parent attitude, It is important for parents to always keeps this in mind so that they can set good examples for the children".


While advising the parent over taking care of their children, she furthered that the teachers will also put in more effort in both physical and moral training so as to raise well mannered future leaders. 



She however promise the parents that the high standard of the school will not be compromised, and the teachers will make sure they provide the best assistance they can render as a teachers so as to inculcate in them good morals and improve our society.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU LUNCH 40 NEW SHUTTLE BUSES

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
