  10. I believe as important as wheatand flours are to Nigeria so also is Rice I believe people that love good product will stay pay no matter how costly they may be .but government can help come to the aid of the Business women by subsidising the price for them.

  11. It's been a worrisome trend as no regulations in market price is enforced. For certain pointed factor, every business people seems to be the decision maker of what amount to sell their products, especially rice. Usually, it was something everybody could afford, but now, it's a messy show. I hope the government will rise to the cry of the masses and savage the situation with laudable laws in place.

  13. It indeed sad we get this level that prices of food stuff especially rice is out of reach of most Nigerians. The government should as matter of urgency fight insecurity so that farmer’s can go back to farm. Government should declare state of emergency on food production and provide funding facilities and enable environment to grow our food.A nation that cannot provide enough food for her people does not deserve to be called a country.

  14. The government need to come up with modalities towards reducing the price of rice. Also, salaries of the civil servants need to be increased for them to have purchasing power.

  15. In my opinion, Government need to do more to bring the price down. This can be achieved by empowering more farmers to plant improve seeds, buy the rice back and sell cheaply since rice is commonly consumed .

  16. Again, Government need to ensure security for farmers. Farmers are not encouraged to farm again and this has decreased the output thereby making the few farmers sell on the high side.
