The ara community leaders has  called on all students residing in the community to imbibe the  proper hygiene for the safety of everyone.

One of the community leader Abiodun adeoyin ,speaking with newsmen disclosed that  most  of the student residing in area are found of mismanaging their waste,adding that every where in the community is occupied with unkept waste product.

He added that health is wealth,when their large number of unkept bins or dumping ground it attracts disease known as cholera which has an havoc on the community.



Adedoyin futher call on the student to abide by the rules of the community,emphasizing that any student found wanting will be dealt  with accordingly,he also pleaded to the government to provide more incinerator to the community .

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
