 Transporters Laments Over Poor Sales in Yakuba

Motorcyclists in Yakuba area of Ilorin on Wednesday laments over poor sales due to the long holiday of the Students of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.


In an interview with our reporter, Rukoyat Opeyemi, one of the bike man

Mr Musa Yusuf complains bitterly about the issue that the long holiday is really affecting their general income and savings. 


Another interviewee is Pastor Vincent who also showed concern about the issue stating that they don’t usually  have enough income and sales since the students went on holiday adding that they are all wishing for the students to resume so  everything can go back to the normal way.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU LUNCH 40 NEW SHUTTLE BUSES

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
