During an attack on security detective in Kwara state, two suspected cultists were slam in a statement release on Saturday, the Kwara state police command .


according to Ajayi okasanmi the command spoke man,confirmed that their death was some cultists attack squad of police detective from special Taction squad (STS) FIB Abuja, generating commotion around the Kwara state polytechnic gate Ilorin



According to NAN for cultists who were also student at the college were apprehended and hazardous weapon were discovered from them he added that some of the cultists were hiding in the lajolo area of Kwara polytechnic Ilorin where a similar attack on one student as a result the STS team decided to pay a visit to the area surprisingly the cultists attacked the police team, causing damage to the police Hummer bus and wounded one police sergent belonging to the STS squad, Adebayo Abdullah with a gunshots to the head as a result of the ensuring squabble,a large number of students came out to the block the road the statement added. The injured officer and the suspect were transferred to the hospital for treatment .


However,Two cultists Ahmed and masibau m'alais shaban,were apprehended with one forged English pistol three live rounds, two live cartridge and one pistol magazine during the attack .


According to the state's commissioner of the police who added that security personnel were on standby to prevent any additional act of lawlessness.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.
