 Two weeks electricity outage in Eleko, Residents laments

The peoples of Eleko Community has lamented over the two weeks power outage in the community which they said has crippled economic activities in the area. 


According to Sulaimon Soliu, whose profession is welding iron, said he has been unable to work due to the electricity outage, appealed to the government of kwara State and Ibadan electricity distribution company IBDEC, to restore electricity in the area . 



He Further said  that it is not convenient for them because using diesel engine consume alot of money and power and anything they weld will not be as strong as  the one with electricity. 


The residents however appealed to the government to help them work on it as it is affecting their daily activities in the community.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.
