The university of ilorin Vice Chancellor has successfully completed his tenure and he handed over to prof. Wahad Egbewole as the Institution new V.C


 Prof. Wahad was announced as the new V.C at the press briefing held at the council Chamber by the university Governing Council Mallam Abidu Yasid.


Yasid said that Prof Egbewole emerge after the screening of 13 professors in the last 4days (professor Wahad Olasupo Egbewole (SAN), Professor Muhammad Olarenwaju Ibrahim, Professor Ademola Raji, Prof Olubumi Ayobami, Prof Ibrahim Ademola Katibi,Prof Olayinka Buhari and Prof Ahmed Shehu Abdulsalam.

 Others are: Prof Hassan Ajisafe, Prof Suleiman Folorunsho Ambali, Prof Raheem Adebayo, Prof Abdulrazaq Akinola, Prof Baki Toyin Abdulrahim and Prof Issac Abiodun Adimula).

    Prof Egbewole will return immediately after Prof Abdulakeem vacate from the sit on 15th of October,2022.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
