 We need more waste bin, oja oba traders Decried.

Dumping of refuse is not something good around the market because it's a place where buying and selling take place, dumping of refuse has caused air pollution in the market.


In an interview with one of the trader and market woman leader, Alhaja olorunlabe said insufficient waste bin is the major reason why traders and buyers dump refuse around the market area.


She further stated that, oja- Oba is located at the center of the state, it one of the most popular market in ilorin, ‘’Dumping of refuse on the floor has caused air pollution in the market and it’s makes the market looks unkept, we need more waste bin’’ she said.


She however urged kwara state government to come to their aide and also appeal to her fellow markets traders to make proper use of it when it provided.

    Dubbing of refuse, arround oja axis. is one of the factor affecting people selling goods in oja oba market, buyers will not be eager to buy goods.if they see every where dirty . I want to urge, the state government to provide abundance of Dustin bin /wastin basket to each shop so as to put stop to people dropping refuse ,and to do proper monitoring so as to guilty whosoever deviate in accordance with the lay down rules,set by the monitoring team.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.
