 We need Standard Electricity Pole in Ara:says Ajayi Oluwaseun

Residents of Ara express concern on the type of pole use to pass electricity into their homes saying it endangers their lives.

    

In an interview with a resident Ajayi Oluwaseun,said few days ago some Pole catches fire and it was quick intervention of the people that safe life’s and properties.


Further more another resident known as jamiu kayode said other houses sometime have stable light while some don't have, because the electricity power supply damage almost all the time while they have to raise it up again,he said they often contribute money to pay someone to fix it for them, and it becoming unbearable for the residents.


He however call on kwara state government and stakeholders of the community to come to their aide.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
