 The kwara state PDP gubernatorial candidate Alhaji Abdullahi Shuaib Yaman said he will create jobs for the youth through agriculture.

     In his speech at the 1st kwara tabloid Governorship candidate debate at kwara hotel Ilorin, on Wednesday, he pledged to reposition the state in terms of empowerment and employment for the youth.

      He also maintained that he will generate revenue to fund the state has the state had enough resources.

. He furthered that the rivers in the state like Asa, Edu, and others can be used for fish farming.

 Similarly, partnering with the bank of agriculture he will buy 500 tractors that can be used for farming in his first year to make agriculture easier for them.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
