 Yakuba residents lament over bad road

Residents of Yakuba, ilorin, Kwara State on Wednesday lamented over bad road in the community.


According to one of the Community Leaders, Mr Abdulkadir, said the road has been that way about 11 years ago which the Local Government failed to do something about it. 



He said he would be glad if the government come to the aid of people in the community to construct the road leading to the area. 


The residents however implored the local government to find a lasting solution to the problem before it get worse.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
