Yoruba Road Traders blames FG over hike in commodities.

Traders in Yourba road, Unity Axis, Ilorin the State Capital, on Sunday blamed the Federal Government for not been able to regulate the price of commodities in the market for the past few years .
According to reports, the government have failed in regulating the price and control on goods and commodities as necessary policy are not been put in place.
However, a trader, Bello Uthman lamented that closing of the border by the federal government is not the solution for the situation of the country especially in the aspect of food security, adding that ,a bag of rice is been sold for 32,000 is now 40,000 naria.
Bello futher that, some of the trader are running at loss as a result of instability in the price policy control, adding that flood is one of the major issues that has affected the transportation of commodities from one place to another.
A regular costumer of yoruba road market, Prince olarewaju, who come to
buy food stuff, disclosed that before, you can buy food items worth 20,000 thousand naira and it will be a lot of food items but now hardly will you buy food items worth 20,000 that will sustain one till the end of a month.
He further plead on the federal government to make quick actions to subsidize hike in food commodities price.
