 YOWICAN KWARA STATE CHAPTER ANNOUCES  ANNUAL CONVENTION

The Youth wing christian association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) annouces their upcoming annual convention.


Pastor Segun Gbadegesin, the CAN chairman of Asa Local Government  in his statement on Monday October 10, 2022, reveal that every Christian Youth in kwara State is expected to participate in the 2 days Annual Convention which will come up on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th of October, 2022 at NYSC camp ground, Eyenkorin, Ilorin.


He further state that there are a lot of programs that has been stimulated to help the youth to live a Godly and holy life. Also the registration is free and there is accommodation for everybody.


He also advised all youths to stay out of any form of violence and any thing which is against the law and God during and after the convention. He implore them not to engage in hard drug and harmful substances that can  destroy their life.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU LUNCH 40 NEW SHUTTLE BUSES

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
