 RUQAYAH EMERGES WINNER OF 1ST NAMCOS FEMALE MARATHON By: Mustapha Bello. An ND 1 ODFEL student of the department of mass communication, RUQAYAH..... wins the 1st NAMCOS MARATHON which was organized by the 2022/2023 executives led by Sen. Joshua Adeyeye on April 28th, 2023. The athletic activity which was an initiation of the office of the sport director duly held by Comr. Iranloye Shinaayomi kick-started by 9am and athletes were made to run from the school's radio studio, running around the roundabout, and down to the school stadium, duly guided by the welfare office led by Comr. Barakat Ismail. Thirty minutes into the commencement of the marathon, Nafisat ran through the finish line victoriously leaving behind the second place with a wide margin.  At the end, all participants were given certificate of participation, and Nafisat was presented a certificate, medal and 1st position trophy by the Part-time students Coordinator, Mrs. Taiwo Opaleke.

 KWARAPOLY: MASS-COMM HND2 LIFTS 2022/2023 HOD'S CUP By: Mustapha Bello. HND 2 defeats ND 1 PT in the finals 1 - 0 to lift mass communication's HOD's cup in the final of the tournament which was held on Friday April 28th, 2023 at the Kwara state polytechnic stadium. The match kicked off at 11am with numerous attempts on goal from HND 2 players dominating possession all through first twenty minutes into the game. 2 minutes to the end of half time, Jubril strikes with a volley and hit the back of the net giving HND 2 the lead with a beautiful assist from Aduragba in the right corner. The second half began with a great spirit from the team behind as 3 substitutions were made by the coach which changed the fate of the game forcing the dominating team to defend all through the second half with aggressive dominance from men in green.  At the end of fifty minutes, the referee blew his whistle to end the match with just the goal from Jubril separating both sides which earned the Pi...

NAMCOS CONGRESS: CEEJAY'S TEAM REBIRTHS INITIATION, PROMISES BETTER LEADERSHIP The National Association of Mass Communication Students [NAMCOS] under the leadership of Sen. Joshua Adeyeye in the 2nd edition of NAMCOS CONGRESS organized by the association's Legislative Council (NLC) has promised the students of the department a better administration with numerous achievement to keep count of before their team drops power.  The program which was held at the Kwara state polytechnic Conference Hall on April 4th, 2023 was targeted at meeting face-to-face between the executives and the students in order to hear from them what they truly want and how well they think the administration has done so far.
