Solanke also disclosed that pot-holes and indiscriminating dumps of refuse are major sources of the hold-up in the market.  We need adequate security in oke ose, Residents decried. By: Bashiru Fatimah Omolara The resident of oke ose ilorin kwara state appealed to the government for adequate security in the community and its environs. In an interview with Mr Yusuf Nurudeen, the Youth leader of Oke ose who resides at Elewure villa stated that insecurity has become very rapid in the community  The Youth leader added that EVERYDAY FOR THIEF ONE DAY FOR THE OWNER. He said that someone was caught in the action of stealing and he explained he had been in the act for so long, the victim confessed that he stole goat and sold it to the Suwa man in the community he also stated that he stole some window burglaries in the environs. The victim has been handed over to the Nigeria police force F division Oke oyi ilorin kwara state by the community. The students and the villagers however appeal to the state government for adequate security and a very lawful action to be taken on anyone caught.

 Hassan community seeks urgent help over erosion By IBIETAN MERCY OMOTAYO  The people of Hassan community in Elekoyangan Ilorin have pleaded to Kwara state Government to urgently address the erosion in their area. In an interview with Rhoda Ajisafe, A student of Computer science, at Kwara State Polytechnic,who lives in the area said that the road has been devastated by erosion,she however called on relevant stakeholders and Kwara State to provide long lasting solution to it. In another interview with a resident , Mr Yakub Abdulrahman stated that the terrible state of the road had make it a bit difficult for vehicles and Okada to access to their various houses.  The road has been damaged by erosion and the only solution as it is now is to grade and construct more drainage systems to allow free flow of water during rain, he said. He however called on relevant stakeholders and Kwara State government to come to their aide

 We need more boreholes, Yakuba residents laments. By: Akinbami Olaoluwa Sunday The resident of yakuba community ilorin, kwara state has lamented over scarcity of water in the community area. In an interview with a resident who resides in the area  OLAOYE ADESHILE, stated that the community had suffered for scarcity of water for many years, he added that the government promised to provide boreholes but only one was provided which isn’t enough. He however, appeal to kwara state government to provide more boreholes for the community, which will ease the long queue and stress of the people and make live easier in the community.

By: Adedoyin Azeez In an Interview with the Head of Department of library study Mr.Ajimoti.R.A said that the recent result of the ND2 and HND2 students that was released last week which most of the students failed GNS was as the result of students not been serious with borrow course.       He stated that exam malpractice is what  most  students rely on and made them feel relentless about their studies but the new administration does not condone those actions.         He however charged students of kwara state polytechnic to take their education serious.

 Bayo, Bunmi Babalola Foundation awards Students Scholarships  By: Alaofin Odunayo Janet As part of their effort in assisting the less privileged, a Non-Governmental Organization, Bayo and Bunmi Babalola Foundation has awarded the students of Isin, Ekiti and Ilofa Local Government Area of Kwara State scholarship The foundation released the scholarship award for the student on Thursday , 13th of October 2022 at GSS Omu-Aran Hall.  It was gathered that the scholarship is the 7th edition of the program. The beneficiaries included; pupils of primary schools, secondary schools and Tertiary institutions.  According to the NGO, it is to help them with their studies in the little way they have.
